Overview

  • Select Main Menu > Panels > IMAGE VIEW - Create New Panel to create a new Image View Panel and dock it next to the Primary Viewport Panel

    • The Image View Panel displays the bitmap of a selected Image Projection object.

    • If no Image Projection object is selected, the Panel will be empty.

    • If the selected Image Projection does not reference a valid bitmap file, the default color gradient bitmap will appear in the Image View Panel.

  • The Image View Panel can be locked to a specific Document, and to a specific Image Projection object from that Document using the Options []> menu.

  • The name of the Document and of the Image Projection object will be displayed in the Panel’s Tab.

Accessing Via Image Projection Object UI

  • A new Image View Panel can also be opened via the large image button in the Image Projection object’s Alignment > Markers rollout in the Object Properties Panel.

  • When the Image View Panel is opened via that button, the Image View Panel will be automatically locked to the Image Projection object that opened it.

  • Double-clicking an Image Marker in the Image Projection object’s Markers rollout list will also open and lock an Image View Panel.

  • If an Image View Panel is already opened and locked to the Image Projection object, focus will be switched to the Image View Panel automatically.

  • In addition, the double-clicked Image Marker will be selected in the Image View for easy transforming and for using the PLACE Selected Marker Here right-click menu option.

  • Note that double-clicking the Scene Markers corresponding to an Image Marker in the Markers rollout of the Image Projection object will in turn switch focus to the Viewport and select the Marker there.
