Direct Connection

Direct Connection is not a recommended way to connect Workers and the Monitor to the Repository. This is due to the security issues that arise from the Workers and Monitor having direct access to the Repository file system and Deadline Database. Because of this, it is highly recommended to use the Remote Connection Server instead when connecting the Deadline Workers and Monitor to a Repository.
