Diagnosing and resolving the License error¶
Once you have found your error it’s time to find out what that error means. While the Flexera License Manager has a lot of possible errors, we have compiled a list of the ones we see most often.

- Error: -1 Cannot find license file
- Error: -2 Invalid license file syntax
- Error: -4 Licensed number of users already reached
- Error: -7 No socket connection to license server manager
- Error: -9 Invalid host
- Error: -10 Feature has expired
- Error: -13 No SERVER lines in license file
- Error: -15 Cannot connect to license server
- Error: -18 License server does not support this feature
- Error: -21 License file does not support this version
- Error: -25 License server does not support this version of this feature
- Error: -96 Server machine is down or not responding
- Error: -96 No such File or Directory
- Error: -96 System Error: 11004 “Comm. error”
- Error: -97 The desired vendor daemon is down.
